As an e-commerce Marketplace, Metro Markets GmbH works with hundreds of Vendors(suppliers) within Germany, Europe and beyond, managing thousands of products to deliver on our customer’s needs while providing great service.
We have a newly created position as a Sales Support Specialist within our Marketing commercial function. You will report directly to the Country Lead of the Marketplace in Spain.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be focusing on the high-value orders and customers, acting as a key player to bring together Metro Markets, customers and the Makro organization.
You will bring your local market knowledge expertise, the know-how of the local organization and operations and make the experience of buying through the marketplace a phenomenal experience for our HoReCa customers.
Together with other members of the business, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the high-value orders are proactively tracked, working with partners to ensure perfect service, informing customers when needed about the status of their orders, and because of all of this increase the repeat rate, LTV and NPS of those customers.

Track the top orders placed in the marketplace from ordering to post-delivery.
Take inquiries and requests that come from the internal teams and that are related to key orders.
Act as the main internal point of contact in all matters relating to key customer concerns/needs.
Work with sales, partners, and other internal teams to develop processes to serve large orders.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings that could help upsell and cross-sell to clients.
Generate progress reports to give to share within the organization.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
Increase the repeat rates, LTV and NPS of the customers that placed large orders.
Internship or professional experience in a sales or customer service role.
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
A proactive approach, collaborative mindset and team player.
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Microsoft Excel).
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English are a must.
