As an e-commerce Marketplace, Metro Markets works with hundreds of Vendors (suppliers) within Germany, Europe and beyond, managing thousands of products to deliver on our customer’s needs while providing great service. 

As a Product Data Manager, you´ll be given the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the fastest-growing e-commerce business in a cross-functional, international and dynamic team where you’ll be focusing on the quality review of all product data (content) listed on our online marketplace. 

You will have indirect interaction with sellers, vendors, and customers, as well as direct internal communication with other departments, especially with commercial, marketing, tech, and legal teams.

 Some of your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Being the first point of contact for country (DE) related Sellers’ product data topics.

• Seller product data review, quality control and prioritization.  

• Creation of accurate and clear product data feedback for Sellers.

• Ensure clear and documented country product data requirements (e.g., ensure legal compliance).

• Alignment of country specific OKRs within the team and other departments.

• Promote transparency within the country (e.g. KPI reports, controlling data flows, dashboards) with the goal of showing the Product Data Seller DE value contribution.

• Collaboration, support, and proactive feedback exchange with cross-functional teams.
