For a Demand Analyst role in the Demand planning team, we are looking for a young professional interested in applying to a “VIE” (Volontariat International en Entreprise) in Germany , Düsseldorf, who is motivated by the challenge of forecasting demand across multiple Markets in e-commerce environment . You will develop the analytical, market-oriented mindset by preparing long term forecast and coordination between Vendor Managers and Supply Chain.
Dimensions of your mission:
Country-Level Demand Planning: Serve as the primary demand planner for a designated country, overseeing Supply Chain topics for this country in collaboration with Supply Planning team.
Category-Level Demand Planning: Take ownership of demand planning for a specific product category across all markets where the company is presented. Work closely with vendor (category) managers to gather insights, align your category planning to the global company strategy. Continuously evaluate and refine sales forecasts based on market trends, product performance, and Supply Planning feedback.
Collaboration and Coordination: Participate in regular meetings and cross-functional projects. Proactively propose and dri-ve continuous improvement in demand forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and/or Python to analyze demand data, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights, create / refine seasonality factors for instance.
You've got
Outstanding knowledge of Excel
Very good analytical / problem-solving / statistical skills
Comfort in dealing with numbers and big volumes of data
The ability to build solid cross functional relationships
Proven team player with a high level of motivation
Fluency in English is essential, French/ Italian is a good plus
